Lyndsay’s Commitments
as Judge

As Judge of the 231st District Court, I will:

  • Put families at the center of every decision.

  • Ensure dignity and fairness for everyone, no matter their background.

  • Uphold the law with compassion and accountability.

Every family who walks into the courthouse should know they will be heard and treated with respect.

  • When speaking of justice, children are often at the heart of a family law case. Whether a case involves custody, alleged child abuse, or adoption, child safety and wellbeing must guide the outcome. Concurrently, parental rights and their property interests will be a primary consideration. As judge, Lyndsay will ensure that children’s needs remain paramount and that parents are given the resources to care for them.

  • No matter your background, income, or circumstance, every family deserves to be treated with fairness and dignity. Lyndsay believes that the courtroom should never be a place where people feel small, overlooked, or unheard. On the bench, she will listen carefully, weigh the facts, and deliver decisions rooted in law.

  • Families deserve a judge who follows the law and applies it consistently. Lyndsay is committed to upholding the Constitution and the laws of Texas with integrity. She will make decisions that are not only fair but also accountable to the principles of justice and the trust placed in the court.

  • Family court often deals with people in crisis—child custody disputes, and child endangerment. Lyndsay understands these are some of the most difficult moments people can face. Having lived it herself, she will ensure that every parent, child, and family who enters the courtroom is treated with dignity and respect, no matter the outcome.
